Meet Our Team
Laurie Arias is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, a USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach and co-owner of CrossFit TakeBack. Her passion is helping new CrossFit athletes find their potential. After staying home raising four kids, Laurie found that her clothing sizes were getting bigger and bigger and walking up the driveway was becoming a struggle. She began running a little bit each day, tracking her food and joining a traditional gym. The routine got stagnant; she slowly slid back into her old habits and the excuses started returning. After a poor performance at a half marathon, Laurie consulted with a nutritionist who advised her to get stronger if she wanted to continue to run. She decided to give CrossFit a try and hasn't looked back. Since joining CrossFit, Laurie has run two half marathons, a full marathon, completed a triathlon and competed in two CrossFit competitions. She looks forward to cheering athletes on as they do things they never thought possible.
